$12 for $30 Worth Of Gourmet Foods

Today's Groupon for Tampa is a voucher for $30 worth of gourmet foods at Kalamazoo Olive Company in St Pete! Looks soooo yummy!

They have 32 gourmet olive oils and balsamic vinegars on tap!! You can try everything before you make a purchase, looks like they have dips, spreads, and "cheese balls" as well. Check out the PDF menu here.

There is very little that i enjoy more than a delicious tapenade. Honestly I could sit and eat a whole jar by myself. If anyone feels like buying me anything, this Groupon would be a good choice. :)

Deals Start Thursday!

Doesn't look like a great week for natural/healthy/organic items. But I look forward to seeing the Greenwise deals because it seems like sometimes they make up for a bad Publix ad. Ask with your customer service desk, I have heard reports of some Publix locations price-matching the Greenwise ad, it would be worth asking! Don't forget to hunt down the clearance table, lots of summer items are marked down at least 50%!!

No Coupons Sunday!

Remember coupa troupas, no inserts in the paper tomorrow because of the holiday weekend. Enjoy your lil vacation from clipping! I know I will. Although I'm a little disappointed. ;)

Walgreens Highlights

I haven't generally posted Walgreens deals before because they have been so awful to me about coupons. However, Walgreens recently created a corporate coupon policy HERE. Print it and take it with you to the store to avoid any coupon conflicts!


I also feel like there is only ever one or two things that I would actually buy there! But since it's just up the road sometimes it is still worth the trip.


Remember these tips when shopping at Walgreens: Walgreens offers Register Rewards as an incentive to buy certain products. A register reward is essentially a coupon you can use on your next transaction. They are generally not "rolling", as in, you cannot go back, buy the same item, pay with your RR, and get another RR back.


Walgreens also requires that you have at least as many items as you have coups- so this is where low cost "filler" items come in. Clearance items for $.12 have been my friend many times in the past.


Don't get overwhelmed, just start by buying one or two things and see how it goes. Working the drugstore deals is infinitely more work than grocery store shopping but once you get going you can truly get items free or close to free.

Great Price on Hempseed!

I just ordered this hempseed  from amazon with my Swagbucks gift cards! If you're not already set up with Swagbucks you should check it out. Swagbucks is a search engine that rewards you with points for searching(among other things) As you accumulate points you can use them to get gift cards, magazine subscriptions, etc. Check it out here.

I had $15 in Swagbucks gift cards so I paid just $3.46 & shipping for three bags of hemp seed. I would normally pay at least $8 a bag for these so I am thrilled!! Just remember to refrigerate anything with oils as they can spoil if exposed to heat. :)

Hemp seed is a fantastic source of protein- it's a complete protein and is wonderful sprinkled on everything from pasta to soups to ice cream. It has a light, nutty flavor. Maya calls them sprinkles and wants them on her peanut butter crackers!
