Until the 14th, there is a coupon available for Sundown Naturals Vitamins. It's in the green advantage flyer found by the front of the store-- $6/2. Check out the vitamins, many are priced at $3 or just a bit more, making them practically free. And look for $1 peelies to sweeten the deal and perhaps give overage!
Disappointed to see that many of the BOGO items do have an organic option but the organic varieties are excluded from the sale. Give us healthy peeps a break would ya? I'd love to see organic pasta sauce on BOGO! Believe me, I'd have a pantry full of it.

Last night I noticed  a lot of Organic cereal clearanced at Sweetbay. The prices were a bit crazy to begin with but they were 50% off so they ran around $2-$3 each for Envirokidz, Barbara's Bakery, and Kashi. I thought that paired with a coup it might be worth a second look.

Publix Trip- Saved 99.8%!!

So I didn't plan today's Publix trip, I just needed a couple of things and had some clever ideas. I was hoping to score a few more vitamins before the advantage flyer coupon for Sundown Natural($6/2) expired. I needed melatonin, and some crackers for the kiddo, and the hubby was requesting Q-tips.
Yesterday at Target I got a $5/50 coup at the register so I was hoping to reach the $50 mark and use that at Publix.
Here is the breakdown, with coups in green.

*10 bottles of Sundown Naturals- I got Vitamin A, Vitamin D and Melatonin. The prices range from $2.99-$3.99 a bottle.
Used- (5)$6/2 Publix Coupon, (10) $1/1 peelies from the bottle lids
This gave me about $6.80 in overage!! :)

This is what I got at Target today-- 6 first aid kits(free after coup), 6 packs Band-Aids(free after coup), 4 Clear & Clear scrubs(again, free after coup), a Wonka Bar($.20), 3 bags of cat food, a swim suit bottom, shoes for my girl, 5 boxes of Morningstar Farms veg burgers, 3 big boxes of Kashi(the kind my daughter can't get enough of and which we finally ran out of), and a bag of coffee beans.

 I paid $21.

I was pretty happy about that.
