what motivates you?

What is your biggest reward when couponing?
Buying better stuff for the same price?
Saving the money?
The security in having a stockpile?

For me it's a little bit of all those things, plus a little bit of sticking it to the man! :)
No, actually I do get a bit of a high when I walk out of a place having paid nothing or next to nothing.
And I like it. :)

  1. I put on FB, but I'll put it here too. Since I stay at home anything that I can do to save/make money really helps, and it makes me feel like I'm doing my part. Also since we have a small business-gas station, we don't have the buying power of a large company, my deal finding gets us goods to sell at our store for a decent profit.

  2. it feels like a poker game. sometimes you have a good hand, and other times you have a ROYAL FLUSH!

  3. Yeah, for me it started out for the saving money aspect, obviously, but it has since become very much about the "high" and sticking it to the man aspect.
Ayne is exactly right about it being like poker. I hold my cards (coups) until the right time to play them in the best hand (sales) and I win! hahaha.
Truthfully, sometimes it even feels like I'm doing something wrong and I'm going to be caught, even though I am totally following the rules. It's hard to walk out of a store with a bunch of free stuff and not feel like you are stealing sometimes. hahha
